Kara Crabb
Communications (2023-Current)
Kara joins Living with Water with a background in linguistics and communications, currently attending the University of British Columbia. She was a regular contributor to Vice, Fashion, and Time Inc. before graduating from Concordia University with a BA in Linguistics. She has worked on language conservation initiatives, specifically on Cree and Inuktitut literacy programming and is interested in computational language models. In 2023, she co-managed social media campaigns for Architects Against Housing Alienation!, representing Canada at the 18th Venice Biennale of Architecture. She is non-status, of mixed European and Indigenous ancestry.
