Andréanne Doyon

Researcher (2021-Current)

Dr. Andréanne Doyon is an Assistant Professor at the School of Resource and Environmental Management at Simon Fraser University. She holds a Ph.D. in Planning from the University of Melbourne, where her research explored how niche interventions inform urban resilience planning.

Her work bridges urban planning, sustainability transitions, and resilience, with a focus on governance processes that support low-carbon, climate-just cities. Prior to joining SFU, she taught at RMIT University in Melbourne and collaborated with various levels of government, including the City of Melbourne and the Victorian Government. She has published in leading journals such as Cities, Sustainability, and Environmental Innovations and Societal Transitions, and contributes to public discourse through outlets like The Conversation and The Guardian.
