Felicia Watterodt

Research Assistant (2022-Current)

Felicia Watterodt is a Master of Environmental Studies candidate at the University of Waterloo, passionate about systems change, collaboration, equity-informed and evidence-based decisions, socioecological resilience, and community-engaged climate action. Her article with Brent Doberstein “The Post-Disaster Window: the 2021 British Columbia atmospheric rivers phenomenon as a focusing event for policy change” was published in July 2023. Her thesis research focuses on flood risk reduction, disaster response and recovery, and climate change adaptation, as a Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions scholar.
